Went to a Spice Girl themed party on Friday night (!!!!!). Had a little pre party at my apartment (aka the Dream Suite)

My lovely Lea has moved to Paris to start a new adventure but a few days after arrival had to get her appendix removed so she's had plenty of time for Skype parties with us back home. Here's us, being dorks:

On the 1st of March I moved into my new place in Sea Point (apparently it's actually in Mouille Point but I'm in denial). It resembles a tacky hotel room with bedlamps attached to the wall, a home phone and bad art so obv I love the place. There's also a lot of old people and Jews in the area which makes everything that much better! Views include the ocean, Cape Town Stadium and a fun little outdoor gym so I'm pretty sure I'm better situated than most people in the world right now. Even though I haven't really been blogging, naturally I've still been photoboothing so here you go, LIFE:

WEEKEND, BABY

To say that I am pretty darn excited about this weekend would be a massive understatement. Friday night I get to witness this in full glory and I'm absolutely LAVSHWv vsjwvg!!!!!!! (for lack of better words).

I also have Robyn and Renee's bird-themed birthday on Saturday which I'm quite psyched for. Busy making a flamingo top (not unlike Bjork's swan dress) of which I will post a picture when I'm done.

And now, besides all of that, apparently 5 Gum SA are bringing Two Door Cinema Club down to our shores in March, playing one gig in Joburg on the 2nd and one in Cape Town on the 3rd? Thing is though, you can't actually buy tickets, but instead keep your eye on their Facebook page HERE or follow them on twitter @5GumSA to find out how you can get hold of a ticket.
