To say that I am pretty darn excited about this weekend would be a massive understatement. Friday night I get to witness this in full glory and I'm absolutely LAVSHWv vsjwvg!!!!!!! (for lack of better words).

I also have Robyn and Renee's bird-themed birthday on Saturday which I'm quite psyched for. Busy making a flamingo top (not unlike Bjork's swan dress) of which I will post a picture when I'm done.

And now, besides all of that, apparently 5 Gum SA are bringing Two Door Cinema Club down to our shores in March, playing one gig in Joburg on the 2nd and one in Cape Town on the 3rd? The pair I own is slightly more dirty and somewhere during the week one of my lecturers suggested that I wash my shoes to which I replied that I was planning on doing so already, DUH, which I totally wasn't but I think I actually might because they would look nice A BIT cleaner.

ANYHOOZ, what I actually wanted to tell you was that my pair of Supergras was found in the trash of a Vredehoek resident so there's a lesson to be learnt here:

I know I mentioned in a post yesterday that I have 99 followers but it wasn't really a celebration of this fact slaaash a post purely about followers. I wanted to do a 100 followers post anyway and make a nice collage with things I like (Haaaa). These were taken so long ago and I finally had them developed. We went to Bombay Bicycle Club in Kloof (Waiters in Costume! Swing Seats! 2 for 1 tequila! Blankets to keep warm! Great Company!). Jana relaxed in the street (evidently). I looked retarded (obviously). Then we skipped the usual Friday night Kimberly Hotel and instead went to Shack. But we ovz couldn't resist Evol (BIRTHDYA GOSH LOOK I'M MAKING TYPOS, DANCING, FLAME DECO!). The next day we got ourselves fixed at the City Bowl Market. Johan and I tasted hake springrolls (REGRETZ) and we moved on to some more fixing at the Spur at the V&A Waterfront where we all went crazy (We pretended it was Nicci's birthday, which resulted in Jana having milkshake all over breasticles. Daniel and I had a balloon fight. Jana and I glued our hands together. We wrote Johan's number on the menu etc etc GOSH GUIZE WHY ARE WE SO FUN?!?!?). I've had this fluffy white jumper for aaaages and I've only ever worn it once (when facehunter came to town (nothing new ever happens in Cape Town (I'm not complaining, I love this place))). Anyhooz, it was March and it was definitely a very stupid idea to wear such an absurdly Wintry garment on such a Summer's eve but like whatever IhadnuffinelsetowearOK? And now it's been very cold since but in all honesty this jumper just isn't the most comfortable/wearable thang. It's really scratchy on the inside. I still like the way it looks though so I put it on and posed around my kitchen (as one does).

On a related note, here's my friend Barry in the jumper on the facehunter night (I ovz got way too hot, took it off on the d-floor and put on the spare top I was carrying around in my handbag. Barry seemed keen on wearing it.)
